Mehira's Bio
Mehira is an energetic and engaging performer. Her unique style inspires and entertains young and old alike.
From the moment she entered her first bellydance class, she was enchanted with this ancient art form. She excelled in her learning and was taking the stage within 2 weeks of her first formal training, and hasn’t stopped since. She went on to be a soloist and principle dancer of the Belly Dancers in Paradise.
While in Hawaii, she performed extensively throughout Hawaii at a variety of engagements from small parties to major stage productions such as Mardis Gras Follies at the Hawaii Theater. She also performed at Carnival of Stars as a soloist along with her troupe.
She studied with Malia in Hawaii. She is also a regular attendee of workshops with such nationally and internationally known instructors as Ava Fleming, Saqra, Mahmoud Reda, Sonia, Kami Liddle, Elizabeth Strong, Dahlena, Tito of Egypt, Helena Vlahos, Rashid, Bozenka of the Bellydance Super Stars.
